Meet Melissa Sledge
I’m an Atlanta-based creative professional whose work spans award-winning filmmaking, screenwriting, acting, voice-over, and commercial performance.
My short documentary film Melissa received the Audience Award for Best Documentary Short at the 2020 Capital City Black Film Festival, a moment that confirmed my deep passion for storytelling that resonates and connects.
As an actor, I’ve performed in a range of projects including Blind Justice, Dating Blues and Grow Up, bringing emotional truth and authenticity to every role. My voice-over work includes commercial reads, narrative pieces, and character voices, crafted to elevate stories and connect with diverse audiences. I also work as a commercial actor, creating natural and engaging performances for broadcast and digital campaigns.
Behind the camera, I’m a screenwriter developing original scripts that explore identity, transformation, and the quiet, powerful ways people grow and change. Whether I’m in front of the lens or shaping the story from behind it, I bring a grounded, passionate perspective to every project I touch.
I'm currently open to collaboration on film, television, commercial, and voice-over opportunities.
